With notable amounts of customization for even tiny details, you can enjoy pleasures as simple as having a preferred type of drink and a neighbor who cares enough to remember what it is.

A twenty-dollar bill, four summers, fifteen years, and a one-of-a-kind life. Create an experience that’s all your own in this near-fully customizable visual novel where you grow from childhood to adulthood with the lonely boy next door.

Genuine review of the game

I cannot emphasize enough how much I adore this game! It has an incredibly appealing protagonist, Cove Holden, who is not only handsome but also has a deep love for the sea (hence the name being Cove, his love of the beach obviously comes from family!). The game's inclusivity towards the LGBTQA+ community is refreshing, and it offers many possibilities, whether you want to pursue a romantic relationship or simply be the best of friends with Cove. It's a game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and its comforting atmosphere never fails to make me feel at ease. This game has genuinely earned a special place in my heart.

When it comes to my all-time favorite characters in games, Baxter Ward takes the top spot, despite not being the protagonist. There's something about his character design that I find captivating - the way he was once mechanical and almost monochromatic, yet has always been a kind and gentle soul who is often misunderstood. What I particularly enjoy is the depth of emotion in his storyline; it's not just angst for the sake of angst, but a genuine exploration of the complexities of human relationships. Despite the potential for a bad ending, given the game's reputation for wholesomeness, I was more than happy that everything worked out well in the end, whether you choose to be friends with him or pursue a romance. Overall, Baxter Ward is a character that will stick with me for a long time.

Besides the two characters I have already showed, we are also introduced to various characters who are all intricately woven into the storyline. From your family members to your closest friends, each character is richly developed and plays a vital role in the game. The characters in the game are all unique and have their distinct personalities, quirks, and interests. You'll find yourself forming a deep connection with them as you progress through the game. The storyline is so well-crafted that it will keep you hooked from beginning to end. The game is quite lengthy, and you'll need to invest several hours to finish it. However, the time invested is entirely worth it because of the depth and richness of the game's world and characters. 

Overall, I highly recommend playing Our Life: Beginning and Always. The game's storyline is so well-crafted that it will make you feel like you're living in the world of the characters. You'll find yourself emotionally invested in their lives and rooting for them until the very end.

This game has actually changed my perception of endings. It made me feel positive about endings because they are not the end, but just another beginning to look forward to.
